"The Ski Trooper" Bronze Sculpture Unveiled at Vail, Colorado

"The Ski Trooper," larger-than-life-sized bronze sculpture designed by Scott Stearman, was unveiled at the popular ski resort in Vail, Colorado in December 1997. A home-sized version of the "Ski Trooper" was created in 1995 and was produced and sold as a fund raiser for the large bronze version. The "Ski Trooper" honors those who served in Europe in World War II as members of the elite 10th Mountain Division.
